Read available sources with Freemore YouTube Downloader, then convert your choice to MP4 video, MP3 audio or a silent GIF on your Windows PC.
Free to use · Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · Version 8.1.0
Paste a supported public link and select Read formats. Review available streams and their reported quality details. Choose Best available quality, a specific video stream or audio-only input.
The link dialog chooses what to download. The main screen's format selector chooses what to save: MP4 video, MP3 audio or a silent GIF. These output settings remain separate from source-quality choices.
Add a video to the queue without downloading the entire media file immediately. Optional playlist mode adds up to 100 entries and checks each video's available sources. Convert starts the downloads and output processing; unavailable items can be reported or skipped.
Inspect errors and logs, check the download module for updates and retry failed jobs. Updates may resolve site changes, but cannot make removed, restricted or unavailable sources accessible.
Choose Add YouTube link, paste the URL and select Read formats. Use material you are permitted to download.
Keep Best available quality or choose a listed stream or audio input, then add it to the queue.
On the main screen, select MP4, MP3 or another supported preset and choose the destination folder.
Start Convert to download and process the source. Open completed files or inspect any failed jobs.
| Option | When to choose it | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| MP4 video | Keep moving pictures and sound. | Source quality limits the detail available to export. |
| MP3 audio | Save only the soundtrack. | Choose an audio source and select MP3 on the main screen. |
| GIF animation | Create a short silent loop. | Trim the clip and remember that GIF has no sound. |
Select MP3 in the main format selector after adding the link. Audio-only in the link dialog chooses an input source, not the final output format.
No. Adding reads source information and prepares the queue entry. The full download starts when processing begins.
This workflow is for supported public sources. It does not promise private access or restriction bypass, and it does not automatically read browser logins.
No. Output presets create local files. The program does not automatically upload or publish them to your account.
Choose your source and output, then save the file on your PC.
