Arm the inputs, then stop when you are done

The recording is a set of takes, not one already-mixed stereo file.

Pick a microphone, speakers, or both.

2. Record

Count in if you want. Pause skips the gap.

3. Save

Mix or trim, then export the take.

What the recorder is for

Choose your devices, check recording levels and edit the takes before exporting.

Separate tracks per device

Each selected source is stored as its own WAV take and placed on its own mixer track when you stop.

Levels you can change live

Gain per source runs from 0% to 300%. Double-click returns it to 100%.

Listen, carefully

Mic monitoring plays through the default output. It switches off while you record that same default speaker, so the monitor does not feed itself.

A small editor after the take

Cut, copy and paste the waveform, then export. Format support is the embedded editor’s, not the Audio Editor’s full list.

Questions

Does it record in one mixed file?

Not automatically. Each source is its own track. Mix them when you export if you want a single file.

Can I record any website?

You can loop back what Windows is playing. That does not bypass a site’s protection, and you should only record what you are allowed to keep.

Is this the same as Freemore Audio Editor?

No. Use the editor when you need the larger repair and multitrack toolset.
