Audio Recorder for Windows
Capture a voice note, Windows playback or both. Freemore Audio Recorder keeps sources on separate tracks so you can balance them before saving your final file.
Free to use · Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · Version 8.1.0
Select a microphone, a speaker or headphone device, or several sources. Device names and default indicators help identify them. For computer sound, choose the device on which the audio is playing.
Watch each source's meter and waveform, and adjust gain independently. Use an optional count-in or pause/resume. Paused time is excluded from the take. Microphone monitoring turns off while recording the default speaker output, so the monitored voice is not captured again.
Each source becomes a separate mixer track when you stop. Adjust volume and pan, mute an unwanted source or trim a mistake before mixdown. Voice and computer sound can have different final levels.
Save the whole result or a selection as MP3, WAV or FLAC. Source WAVs are temporary takes: use Export/Download to keep the final file. Save supported mixer and editing state as an .amss session.
Choose a microphone, Speakers endpoint or both. Confirm the meters respond.
Set source gains, record and pause/resume when needed. Stop when finished.
Trim or balance the separate tracks, then export the mix or selected range.
