Free to use · Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · Version 8.1.0
Open supported audio, record a microphone take or extract sound from a video. Use material you have permission to keep and choose a passage that works on its own.
Select a waveform range, refine its boundary times and preview it. Avoid cutting off a word or phrase. Set the duration for your phone's requirements; no single limit suits every device and import method.
Fade an abrupt boundary or adjust gain. Watch for clipping and listen through the selection. Raising the level alone cannot make a poor source clearer.
Export the selection in a format your phone accepts. Keep a WAV master for further edits. The editor saves a PC audio file; it does not transfer the file or change phone settings.
Load supported audio or record a sound in Freemore Audio Editor.
Set boundary times, listen to the selection, then adjust fades or level.
Export the selection. Check phone format and length requirements before transferring the file.
| Option | When to choose it | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| MP3 | Your phone's ringtone workflow accepts MP3 | Check the device's length and file requirements. |
| WAV | You want an editable master or a workflow that accepts WAV | A WAV copy of an MP3 cannot recover lost source detail. |
| M4R required | Your phone workflow requires an M4R file | Export edited WAV, then convert with Audio Video Suite's M4R preset. |
No. Save the edited clip as WAV, then use Freemore Audio Video Suite's M4R output preset if your phone workflow requires M4R.
