Free to use · Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · Version 8.2.0
Add a clip such as MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV or WebM. Preview it and find the action you want to keep before selecting your output and converting.
A brief selection is easier to reuse than a long animation. Set the start and end in the editor, and check that the selected range includes the complete movement or demonstration.
Use animated GIF in the Images output family. GIF presets include different sizes and avatar options. Review the available dimensions and settings for the preset you choose.
Crop unnecessary edges and use dimensions suited to where you will display the GIF. Longer clips and larger pictures can produce larger files. Open the exported animation and inspect its motion and size.
Open Freemore Audio Video Suite and load a supported video with the moment you want to use.
Set the required range, optionally crop the picture, then select an animated GIF preset in Images.
Choose a destination, start conversion and open the saved GIF. Check its duration, dimensions and file size.
| Option | When to choose it | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Animated GIF | You want a short animation without sound. | Check dimensions, duration and output size. |
| Single PNG or JPEG | You only need one moment as a picture. | Use a still output or exact-time frame extraction. |
| MP4 video | You want to keep video with audio. | Choose a video preset instead of GIF. |
No. Animated GIF has no audio. Use a video format such as MP4 when the sound is part of what you need to share.
Yes. Trim the source to the desired start and end before conversion. You can also crop the picture to focus attention on the useful area.
Duration and dimensions influence the result. Try a shorter selection or smaller picture, then compare the output.
No. A still-image output creates one frame per queue item. Use the separate Extract tracks / frames tool when you need an ordered sequence.
